Data Analyst - Hybrid

10 is currently seeking a Data Analyst - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a highly skilled, self-driven, results-oriented senior data analyst to support data enablement and management activities. This role includes gathering and writing data use case requirements, performing data analysis, and developing data relationship designs. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple work streams, and engaging with business partners to define and deliver impactful and reusable data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for data use cases
• Design and architect scalable data models and data element relationships with a strong emphasis on usability, performance, and data accuracy
• Identify and write requirements for data source integrity monitoring
• Support database enhancement requests and contribute to logical data design solutions
• Participate in data management documentation including data lineage, data sharing agreements, and other metadata management
• Evaluate upstream system of record changes for potential data impact and provide recommendations
• Translate business needs into actionable data requirements and technical specifications
• Partner with technology and data governance groups to ensure alignment with enterprise data standards

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• MSSQL:
  Ability to write, read, and optimize queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Data Analysis:
  Experience in data cleansing, validation, and transformation logic using Alteryx and SSMS
• Documentation:
  Ability to define clear data sourcing and transform logic requirements and database/table/column specifications
• Experience with metadata management and data governance practices
• Proficiency in data profiling and root cause analysis for data quality issues
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex data environments

Desired skills:

• Experience with Google Data Cloud stack (Dataplex, big query, etc.)
• Familiarity with SSIS packages and jobs
• Familiarity with Agile processes and Atlassian software (Jira)

Pay range: $36.56 - $44.56 per hour
