QA Analyst​/QA Engineer – SQL & API Testing

We’re looking for an experienced QA Analyst / QA Engineer to join a fast-paced technology team supporting multiple applications and Agile sprints.

This is a hands-on QA role combining SQL/data validation, API testing, manual testing, and test automation. You’ll work across different types of user stories and applications, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable shifting between data, API, and UI testing and can work independently without a lot of hand-holding.

• Create and execute manual and automated test scripts across Agile user stories
• Perform SQL-based data validation
  , including joins, multi-table joins, and complex queries
• Translate business requirements and data mappings into SQL validation queries
• Perform API testing
  , including authentication, payload construction, and response validation
• Validate API responses against underlying database results
• Contribute to and maintain test automation frameworks
• Perform peer reviews of automated test scripts
• Support testing integration with CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in user story grooming and QA process documentation
• Work across multiple applications and sprints simultaneously

• 3–5 years of hands-on QA/testing experience
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, multi-table joins, and complex queries
• 3+ years of API testing experience
• Experience with API authentication, payloads, and response validation
• Experience with manual and automated testing
• Understanding of test automation frameworks—not simply running existing scripts
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery environments
• Experience with test management and/or automation tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Selenium, Appium, UFT, Test Project, Quality Center, or similar tools
• Experience with source-to-target or ETL/data integration testing is strongly preferred
• Ability to follow established testing standards and documentation while working independently

This team moves quickly and supports multiple applications at the same time. You may be working on SQL/data validation for one story, API testing for another, and UI testing for another within the same sprint.
