Data Governance Developer - Hybrid

10 is currently seeking a Data Governance Developer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role focuses on enhancing strategic Data Management capabilities for Banking and Markets teams. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain database solutions, use Python and REST API integrations with Collibra, and support enterprise data governance initiatives. This hybrid position requires three days of onsite work per week.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance strategic Data Management capabilities using Python and REST API integrations with Collibra
• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions supporting enterprise data governance initiatives
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand data requirements and resolve data-related issues
• Support implementation and monitoring of data quality controls and metrics
• Analyze data issues, identify root causes, and drive remediation efforts
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, development planning, testing, and production support activities
• Contribute to future modernization initiatives, including migration of data management solutions to cloud platforms

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development or data engineering experience
• Python development with REST API integration
• Advanced SQL and relational database design
• Data governance platform experience, preferably Collibra Data Governance Center
• Agile software development experience, Scrum or Kanban
• Experience with Auto Sys job scheduling
• Linux/Unix expertise, sound knowledge of the command line interface
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data requirements
• Experience designing, modeling, and implementing relational databases
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams
• Self-starter who can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for data governance, data quality, and continuous process improvement
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Able to work hybrid in Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite)

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
