• Ensure complete and accurate crop insurance policy underwriting by reviewing applications, agreements, and reports
• Respond to and process requests from claims and compliance departments related to underwriting policies
• Rectify errors and issues identified in the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Error Report
• Underwrite and support regional specialty crops as assigned by the leadership team
• Provide outstanding customer service skills while interacting with brokers, agents, and customers

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance
• Knowledge of data collection and analysis
  
  Microsoft Office experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 or more years of relevant experience
• Must possess basic understanding of underwriting rules and procedures

• Knowledge of agriculture, livestock, and/or multi‑peril crop insurance and specialty programs
• Superior skills in relationship building and active listening
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
