Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation, production and tracking of pitch materials, proposals and RFP responses.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in an effective and efficient manner under tight deadlines.
  • Produce written content maintaining the firm’s brand and tone, including formatting and graphics.
  • Communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders at all levels to gather and produce information for use in pitch and response materials.
  • Gain mastery of firm and attorney experience pool, as well as historical index of prior pitch and response components.
  • Support and facilitate general business development efforts, including research, opportunity spotting, event planning, award submissions, content creation, data management and training.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, attorneys, and professional staff on various projects and initiatives to strengthen client relationships, develop new business, market the firm’s services and further attorney development.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two - three years’ experience in marketing, with preference given to candidates that have experience in law firms or other professional service environments.
  • Experience crafting proposals, pitches and RFP responses, and managing all aspects of the process from start to finish highly preferred.
  • Excellent writing skills. Familiarity with AP Style a plus.
  • Excellent oral communication skills across a variety of professional audiences.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills in order to effectively manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong critical thinking, judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to both work independently and collaborate flexibly as part of a small, cross-functional team.
  • Work may be required outside of normal business hours to meet client requests.
