A well-established, highly respected North Carolina Corporate law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its growing real estate practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys on sophisticated transactions across a broad range of asset classes.
Position Overview:The associate will support and manage commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing
, representing developers, lenders, investors, and corporate clients in complex matters throughout North Carolina and beyond
.
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, and development agreements
- Handle due diligence review, including title, survey, zoning, and financing documentation
- Support and manage commercial lending transactions and loan documentation
- Coordinate closings and work directly with clients, lenders, and opposing counsel
- Advise on risk mitigation and transaction structuring issues
- 2 plus years of experience in a corporate/real estate practice
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and/or commercial lending
- North Carolina Bar admission required
- Ability to manage multiple transactions in a collaborative, client-focused environment
