Position: Warehouse Supervisor (Night Shift)

Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor

You’re looking for a chance to prove yourself as a leader. You’re task‑oriented and ready to get things done.

Responsibilities
  • Pull orders and help dispatch parts to the field. You’ll manage parts runners to deliver items to techs.
  • Check in returns from install jobs and return them to stock for future use.
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse to ensure materials are easily located.
  • Encourage teamwork and accountability to keep the warehouse running toward a shared goal.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory ability.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record.

  • Experience in computer data entry within databases, spreadsheets, and real‑time data entry.

Non‑Essential Skills & Experience
  • One (1) year of leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Three (3) years of warehouse/inventory control experience.
Job Functions & Physical Demands

The job includes occasional standing, walking, sitting for extended periods; hand use for tools and controls; reaching; climbing stairs; balancing; stooping; kneeling; crouching; and occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Substantial repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and fingers may be required.

  • Additional hours are seasonally required and holidays as needed.
  • Must have reliable attendance.
  • Able to perceive and distinguish emotions in telephone conversations.
  • Able to concentrate on tasks consistently.
  • Able to input data to PC and retrieve data using company electronic equipment.
  • Able to use office equipment such as PC, FAX, photocopy machine, voicemail, and postage machine.
Work Environment

Perform duties in a moderate noise environment, often requiring extensive PC use for data and customer information. Requires wearing a headset for communication with customers by phone and a two‑way radio simultaneously. Maintain confidentiality with customer information.

Morris‑Jenkins is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, serving the cities of Ballantyne, Belmont, Charlotte, Clover, Concord, Cornelius, Davidson, Denver, Fort Mill, Gastonia, Huntersville, Indian Trail, Kannapolis, Lake Norman, Matthews, Mint Hill, Monroe, Mooresville, Mount Holly, Pineville, Rock Hill, and Waxhaw. Charlotte is in Mecklenburg County; service also extends to Gaston, Cabarrus, Rowan, Union, Iredell, and York counties (South Carolina).
