Position:
Full‑time Warehouse/Donation Center Assistant

Location:

3815 Latrobe Drive, Office – Charlotte, NC 28211
Salary: $17.75 per hour (40 hours per week)

Shift: Rotating – Sunday through Saturday

Hours:

5000 Houston‑ To10file– 8:30AM to 7:00PM, with weekends and periodic holidays

Position Purpose

Assist customers in unloading donations, loading purchases, and keeping the back room and donation dock organized by efficiently moving merchandise to and from the sales floor.

Essential Functions
  • Ensure that each customer and donor receives outstanding service.
  • Guarantee safe and prompt loading and unloading of customers’ donated or purchased merchandise.
  • Guarantee safe and prompt loading and unloading of Restore trucks.
  • Maintain safe procedures while moving merchandise to and from the sales floor.
  • Inform customers of the donation acceptance policy; refer donors to alternate options for items that are not accepted.
  • Be knowledgeable about the company’s products and services, and customer‑related policies.
  • Serve as an effective team member when working with staff and volunteers.
  • Utilize a forklift as required.
Qualifications

Physical requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted (lifts exceeding 50lbs require additional assistance).
- Ability to work outdoors in all climates.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification and operate a forklift regularly.
- Ability to climb steps to the forklift cab.
- Ability to move and stand for extended periods of time.
