Role Scope
Corning Inc. is seeking a senior Supply Chain leader to join the Integrated Planning transformation team. As a key player in our Supply Chain transformation, this role will focus on building the global supply chain planning capabilities and standards for Corning, as well as partnering with Corning’s businesses to lead their planning transformation journey towards best‑in‑class practices.
This leader will oversee the design, development, and implementation of supply chain planning work processes and standards and collaborate with cross‑functional teams at Corning’s businesses to effectively implement, lead change management, and adoption of planning standards. As a member of the Integrated Planning team, he/she will be a key contributor to optimizing Corning Supply Chain from a service, cost, and working capital perspective and contributing to the global integrated plan organization.
This role is highly visible and has growth potential to evolve into a broader leadership position.
- Lead the creation of Corning’s Integrated Planning standards.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of the supply chain planning standard work processes for Corning’s businesses.
- Partner with Corning businesses to adopt best‑in‑class practices in the creation and execution of raw material, production, and distribution plans for short, mid, and long‑term horizons to meet customer demand.
- Support SIOP process implementation for Corning globally and translate agreements into material, production, and distribution plans for Corning’s businesses.
- Lead the standard work process, policies, and procedures to create effective inventory plans, actions, and results, including defining safety stock and generating plans for SLOB and optimizing overall cash for the business.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the supply chain.
- Attract, develop, and retain top supply planning talent and build the capabilities of the team.
- 12+ years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics, inventory management, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field;
Master’s degree preferred. - Creative and progressive approach to designing and developing a supply chain (planning) organization.
- Strong analytical skills with deep SIOP experience to improve demand and supply planning collaboration.
- Ability to build and lead teams, excel in talent development, conflict resolution, and promote a culture of operational discipline.
- Proficiency in advanced ERP environments; SAP preferred.
- Proven ability to build a strategic plan and execute it effectively.
- Ability to identify and execute process improvement initiatives that drive productivity, reduce costs, and improve profitability.
- Disciplined approach to prioritization, project commitment, and continuous improvement across Product Supply and the company.

The range for this position is $ – $ assuming full time status. Starting pay is dependent on geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
