We're seeking an experienced Inventory & Demand Planner to manage forecasting, inventory strategy, and supply planning for a consumer products portfolio. This role partners with cross‑functional teams and vendors to ensure product availability, optimize inventory levels, and support product launches, promotions, and life‑cycle transitions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop demand forecasts using sales trends, business inputs, and market data.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust plans based on actual performance.
- Manage inventory levels and purchasing plans to meet business goals while minimizing excess inventory.
- Support product launches, promotions, and end‑of‑life transitions.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Merchandising, and vendors to align supply and demand plans.
- Lead vendor forecasting discussions and communicate supply risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Prepare reporting on inventory health, forecast performance, and key business metrics.
- Experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, or related supply chain functions.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience using data to drive decisions.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lead vendor discussions and collaborate across multiple teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience in retail, consumer electronics, wireless, or related industries.
- Knowledge of product life‑cycle planning, promotions, and inventory management systems.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
