Associate Director, Applied Aftermarket Parts
Carrier Global Corporation, global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is committed to creating innovations that bring comfort, safety and sustainability to life. Through cutting-edge advancements in climate solutions such as temperature control, air quality and transportation, we improve lives, empower critical industries and ensure safe transport of food, lifesaving medicines and more. Since inventing modern air conditioning in 1902, we lead with purpose: enhancing the lives we live and the world we share.
We continue to lead because of our world-class, inclusive workforce that puts the customer at the center of everything we do.
The applied aftermarket — service and replacement parts for Carrier's installed base of chillers and applied equipment — is a cornerstone of the aftermarket business and the engine behind CSS data-center chiller ramp (10X growth).
As Associate Director, you will own end-to-end procurement and parts-supply for the applied aftermarket and put in place the supplier-performance, parts-planning and data foundations that guarantee availability, protect cost, and enable the data-center service ramp up.
You will own category strategy, sourcing, supplier performance, standard and engineer-to-order parts planning, cost, and the data foundation (PFEP, AVL, BOM) for the CSS applied aftermarket. You will build and lead the parts-supply organization, be accountable for parts availability, OTIF, cost and the data-center parts ramp, and partner across field service, planning, factories, Commercial Parts and suppliers. The role reports to the AM Supply Chain Leader.
Role Responsibilities:Strategy & organization build
Own applied aftermarket parts category strategy, sourcing and supplier alliances across the CSS portfolio.
Build and lead the parts-supply team — standard (BTS), non-standard / ETO (BTO) category specialists, a supplier performance & escalation lead, and ancillary / field-service parts.
Set make/buy, dual-source and inventory strategy; govern the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
Parts availability & service (close the gaps)
Guarantee parts availability and drive RC-to-Service OTIF improvement.
Establish a single supplier-performance & escalation owner; eliminate the Material Planning vs. RC Expedite duplication.

Data center & critical parts
De-risk the data-center parts ramp (10X): address the critical parts at supply risk.
Manage NLA (no-longer-available) transitions and NPI parts readiness.
Cost & data
Deliver should-cost-driven savings; own supplier OTIF scorecards and total-cost performance.
Direct PFEP, AVL and BOM data — including the compressor-overhaul BOM.
Leadership
Coach and develop the team; align field service, planning, factories, Commercial Parts and suppliers around one availability plan.
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering or Business.
10+ years of progressive procurement / parts-supply / materials leadership, including direct people leadership and building or scaling a team.
5+ years' experience managing a $300M+ spend portfolio while lifting OTIF/ availability with strong should cost and negotiation capability
