Head of Compliance (US Customs Brokerage & Trade Compliance)

About the RoleThe Head of Compliance is a senior leadership role responsible for strategic oversight, governance, and execution of customs brokerage compliance, responsible supervision and control (RS&C), and trade compliance services across the United States.
Responsibilities- Define, implement, and maintain RS&C standards in accordance with 19 CFR and CBP requirements.
- Serve as the accountable executive for customs brokerage compliance programs.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activity and remediation.
- Lead trade compliance and consulting services including classification, valuation, auditing, and post‑entry activity.
- Support client onboarding, compliance assessments, and business reviews.
- Lead and mentor compliance and consulting teams.
- Oversee multi‑tiered training programs for employees and clients.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and compliance metrics reporting.
- Licensed U.S. Customs Broker (required)
- Minimum 15 years of customs brokerage and trade compliance experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
