* Position Overview
**

The Supply Planner is responsible for leading daily supply planning activities across the region, ensuring optimal inventory levels, efficient replenishment, and seamless alignment between demand signals and manufacturing execution. This role manages consignment stock, safety stock strategies, and replenishment plans while working closely with the Demand Planning team to translate demand into actionable supply plans. The Supply Planner also partners with manufacturing sites to prioritize production, support scheduling, and lead hotlist calls to ensure customer commitments are met.

Success in this role is measured through low Total Working Capital (TWC) , high On‑Time In‑Full (OTIF) performance, and reduced expedite costs through proactive inventory management.

Key Responsibilities Daily Supply Planning Leadership
  • Lead day‑to‑day supply planning activities, ensuring accurate and timely replenishment across the region.
  • Convert demand forecasts into supply plans that balance service, cost, and inventory targets.
  • Monitor supply constraints, capacity limitations, and material availability to adjust plans proactively.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders regarding supply risks and mitigation actions.
Inventory & Stock Management
  • Manage consignment stock levels , ensuring optimal inventory availability at customer or partner locations.
  • Define and maintain safety stock levels based on demand variability, lead times, and service requirements.
  • Develop and execute regional replenishment plans to ensure the right stock is positioned at the right time.
  • Track inventory health, slow‑moving items, and excess stock, driving corrective actions to reduce TWC.
Demand‑Supply Alignment
  • Work closely with the Demand Planning team to understand forecast changes, demand drivers, and risks.
  • Translate demand signals into supply requirements and ensure alignment across planning horizons.
  • Support S&OP discussions by providing supply insights, constraints, and recommendations
Manufacturing Coordination
  • Collaborate with manufacturing sites to ensure supply plans are feasible and aligned with production capabilities.
  • Attend plant‑level scheduling calls to prioritize orders on the shop floor based on customer needs and business priorities.
  • Communicate demand changes, supply risks, and inventory requirements to production teams.
  • Close the loop between demand, supply, and manufacturing to ensure seamless execution.
Hotlist & Priority Management
  • Lead hotlist calls , ensuring critical orders are tracked, escalated, and resolved promptly.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams if prioritization is needed.
  • Provide clear visibility to stakeholders on hotlist status, risks, and recovery plans.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive improvements in supply planning processes, tools, and data accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce expedite costs by improving planning accuracy and inventory positioning.
  • Support digital initiatives and analytics to enhance supply planning effectiveness.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field will be preferred.
  • +5 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in planning systems and Excel;
    Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with manufacturing teams and understanding production processes.
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
