Procurement / Purchasing
• Complete four nine-month Supply Chain rotations
• Work across Sourcing & Accounts Payable, Operations & Analytics, Supplier Diversity & Sustainability, Compliance / Business Support Services, and Organizational Effectiveness & Strategic Alignment
• Participate in sourcing areas including Nuclear, Generation, Major Projects, T&D, and Enterprise
• Experience complex intellectual challenges and gain practical on-the-job experience
• Participate in and lead small- and large-scale initiatives
• Interact with other Supply Chain Associates through planned social and work activities
• Develop experience in negotiations, commercial evaluations, project management, process improvement, and related tools
• Gain familiarity with Duke Energy’s corporate culture and access to senior leaders
• Deploy to an area of interest at program conclusion, subject to business need
Requirements
- Duke Energy Intern/Co-op Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future
- Willingness and ability to travel 5–15% of the time
- Rotation assignments may require direct support in the required work environment
