Supply Chain Associate

• Complete four nine-month rotational assignments across diverse Supply Chain functions
• Work in Sourcing & Accounts Payable, Operations & Analytics, Supplier Diversity & Sustainability, Compliance / Business Support Services, and Organizational Effectiveness & Strategic Alignment
• Support sourcing areas including Nuclear, Generation, Major Projects, T&D, and Enterprise
• Participate in and lead small- and large-scale initiatives
• Conduct negotiations and commercial evaluations
• Contribute to project management and process improvement activities
• Use numerous Supply Chain tools and gain practical on-the-job experience
• Interact with other Supply Chain Associates through planned social and work activities
• Deploy to an area of interest at program conclusion, subject to business need

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Communications, or a related field
• Duke Energy Intern/Co-op Experience
• Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
• Master’s Degree preferred
• Change Management certification preferred
• Project Management experience or certification preferred
• Certified Production and Inventory Management preferred
• Certified Purchasing Manager preferred
• Lean or Six Sigma experience or certification preferred
