Role SummaryThe Supply Planner is responsible for translating approved demand plans into executable supply strategies across all suppliers and product lines, managing purchase orders, inbound flow, and inventory positioning to ensure Feetures has the right product in the right place at the right time. This role drives supply continuity and inventory health by monitoring weeks of supply, recommending replenishment actions, and actively managing inbound freight decisions in partnership with the transportation function.
It also owns the operational execution of the Supplier Excellence Scorecard program, gathering performance data, maintaining the scorecard, and driving workflow improvements that support the Director’s supplier accountability conversations. The Supply Planner is a detail-oriented individual contributor whose execution accuracy and analytical rigor directly impact service levels, inventory investment, and supplier relationship quality.
- Translates consensus demand plans into purchase orders and replenishment schedules across all suppliers and product lines, maintaining appropriate weeks of supply targets by SKU and channel.
- Monitors inventory positions on a regular cadence, identifies supply risks and surplus exposure, and recommends replenishment or flow adjustments with supporting analytical rationale for Director review.
- Manages inbound flow decisions in coordination with the transportation function, analyzing ocean vs. air tradeoffs and recommending mode selection that balances cost and service requirements.
- Tracks open purchase orders against confirmed delivery timelines, proactively identifying delays and escalating supply risks before they impact fill rates or customer commitments.
- Manage system settings and parameters to ensure accurate ordering.
- Monitor PO deadlines and exceptions, working around calendar shifts, variable lead and transit times, and supplier requirements.
- Build pre-and post-order supplier forecasts, analyzing and recapping changes to demand team and suppliers.
- Expedite priority SKUs and manage supplier WIP tracking to support ever-changing supply needs.
- Monitors weeks of supply and in-stock fill rate performance across the product portfolio, surfacing excess and at-risk inventory positions and recommending mitigation actions to the Director.
- Maintains accurate supply planning data within planning systems, ensuring inventory records, PO statuses, and lead time assumptions reflect current operating conditions.
- Evaluate at-risk orders and prioritize inventory allocation based on supply constraints, sales priorities, and customer demand.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and customer service on new product launches and communicate any foreseeable delays based on incoming receipts.
- Executes the operational cadence of the Feetures Supplier Excellence Scorecard program, gathering on-time delivery, quality, and capacity data from internal systems and supplier partners on a recurring basis.
