Order Management Coordinator
Job Description
The Order Management Coordinator receives, manages, and schedules customer orders to support efficient daily delivery operations. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring orders are accurately entered, scheduled, and clearly communicated to internal teams. The coordinator works closely with Logistics, Sales, and Operations to align delivery schedules with project requirements, truck availability, yardage volume, and other operational priorities while contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on operational excellence.
Responsibilities
+ Receive and process customer order requests via phone and online ordering platforms in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Schedule customer orders within the order management system, taking into account delivery capacity, truck demand, project requirements, and operational priorities.
+ Assist customers in identifying and selecting appropriate products and materials for their specific project needs.
+ Provide professional, responsive, and courteous customer service, addressing order-related questions, issues, and concerns.
+ Collaborate with Logistics teams to support on-time, accurate deliveries and adjust schedules as needed.
+ Coordinate with the Sales team regarding current and upcoming projects, specifications, and order-related details to ensure alignment.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date order records and customer information within company systems and databases.
+ Use order management and scheduling systems to track, update, and confirm orders and delivery schedules.
+ Work with team members to review and improve processes, enhance accuracy, and increase overall customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
+ Support and promote a positive, team-oriented environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Essential Skills
+
Experience with order entry and order management processes.
+ Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple orders and schedules.
+ Computer proficiency and willingness to learn industry-specific software platforms, including order management and scheduling systems.
+ Team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities to resolve order and scheduling issues.
+
Experience with scheduling coordination and materials logistics.
+ Familiarity with purchase orders and related documentation.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in customer service, dispatching, scheduling, logistics, construction, transportation, or manufacturing environments.
+ General knowledge of construction materials, logistics, or operations.
+ Experience using order management or scheduling systems in a professional setting.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mint Hill, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
