  • We’re looking for a Procurement Specialist Expeditor to drive the tactical execution of purchased materials through each stage of the manufacturing process. You’ll collaborate with global and local teams, suppliers, Engineering, Logistics, and supplier quality partners to keep schedules on track, resolve daily issues, and improve supply chain performance.

What You’ll Do
  • Monitor assigned procurement activities, including order confirmations, production progress, quality compliance, and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with project management, material requirements planning, Logistics, Engineering, suppliers, and supplier quality teams to ensure effective planning and execution.
  • Support transportation and customs compliance while helping manage project results, including budget versus actual performance.
  • Lead technical clarifications with Engineering, suppliers, and supplier quality engineers for assigned commodities.
  • Provide weekly schedule progress reports and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and supplier performance.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Science
  • 3+ years of applicable direct purchasing / material requirement planning or comparable experience
  • 3+ years of experience in facilitating or participating in continuous process improvement projects
What Sets You Apart
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)
  • Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • Advanced knowledge of Power Generation products/supply market
  • Advanced technical knowledge needed (like reading and understanding technical drawings, specifications)
  • Solid SAP system knowledge as a user of the "Buy" module is needed
  • Advanced analytical skills to handle, transform, understand and use large data volumes (preferred Microsoft Excel)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration and influencing techniques, result-orientation and strategic-innovative thinking needed
  • Strong intercultural sensitivity and outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong team player, with a can-do attitude and problem-resolution focus.
