Design, deploy, and continuously improve Columbus McKinnon’s global Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning operating system
Connect demand, supply, capacity, inventory, procurement, and finance across business units, plants, and product families
Establish SIOP standard work, roles, decision rights, cadence, templates, and governance
Lead the monthly executive S&OP cycle and maintain a decision log linked to S&OE execution
Build planning adoption and discipline across Commercial, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Product Management, IT, and site leadership
Harmonize planning data across ERP and planning systems and define data ownership, refresh cadence, master-data standards, exception logic, and controls
Create KPI hierarchies, Power BI reporting, executive dashboards, and monthly S&OP reporting
Translate planning data into executive narratives, decisions, risks, trade-off recommendations, and financial/service impacts
Integrate monthly SIOP decisions with weekly/daily S&OE execution
Develop routines for backlog recovery, RCCM, forecast sharing, supplier capacity balancing, and lead-time optimization
Improve inventory turns, DIO, excess/obsolete reduction, working capital, OTIF, backlog, supplier continuity, OTD, and risk mitigation
Connect SIOP outputs to material productivity, PPV, savings realization, runout timing, and P&L impact
Conduct site and regional planning maturity assessments
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations planning, materials management, demand/supply planning, or IBP
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and driving performance
- 5+ years leading SIOP/S&OP/IBP or master scheduling in complex, multi-site manufacturing environments
- Experience working across SAP S/4
HANA, SAP ECC, SAP IBP, Anaplan, and local ERP/planning platforms - Ability to define data standards, KPI logic, exception rules, and cross-system harmonization
- Demonstrated ability to build executive dashboards, KPI governance, and cross-functional decision forums
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or Data/Analytics required
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally to manufacturing sites and regional leadership locations
- MBA preferred
- Preferred certifications: ASCM CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, Lean Six Sigma, SAP/IBP/Anaplan training, Power BI/Tableau experience
Demonstrates extensive expertise in Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) and Supply Chain Management, with a strong focus on cross-functional leadership, data harmonization, and KPI governance. Proven ability to design and implement effective planning systems that drive performance and optimize inventory management across complex manufacturing environments.
