Title: Logistics Analyst

Industry: Logistics and Global Supply Chain

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: ASAP start; 2 years; full-time hours

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and expedite product movement across the global supply chain, coordinating with freight forwarders, distribution operations, carriers, customs brokers, compliance teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor, track, trace, rate, and route inbound shipments; adjust service levels and manage exceptions to support on-time delivery and international shipping compliance.
  • Analyze transportation and logistics performance, including carrier performance, optimization opportunities, cost savings, claims, and settlement activities.
  • Develop and distribute financial forecasts, exception-management reports, and monthly or quarterly carrier performance reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Identify root causes and implement analytical, technical, and process-improvement solutions, including compliance-violation reporting and chargeback support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus, with demonstrated planning, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, root-cause analysis, decision‑making, follow‑up, and attention‑to‑detail skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of optimization techniques, routing tools, transportation operations, and performance metrics; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and related desktop applications.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate forecasts and guidance clearly to business partners and senior leadership, including non‑native English speakers.
  • Adaptable team contributor who can independently learn new applications and processes, train or cross‑train others, respond promptly to requests, and work extended hours when business volume requires it.
