About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a growing medical device manufacturer in the Charlotte area seeking a Senior Buyer to support strategic sourcing and procurement activities across a regulated manufacturing environment. This individual will play a key role in supplier management, cost reduction initiatives, contract negotiations, and ensuring continuity of supply for critical components and materials.

• Manage procurement activities for direct and indirect materials.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to drive quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Lead sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Support inventory optimization and supply continuity efforts.
• Partner closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure procurement processes align with quality and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of purchasing, procurement, or sourcing experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Medical device manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 certified environments is required.
• Strong supplier negotiation and strategic sourcing experience.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Medical device, life sciences, healthcare manufacturing, precision manufacturing, or highly regulated industry experience.
• Proven track record of driving cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
• Experience supporting quality-focused manufacturing operations.
