** The salary for this position is $24.00 per hour.

* JOB SUMMARY:

** This position assists treatment plant operators and maintenance staff on with daily maintenance and operation at the assigned treatment facility. This position performs scheduled preventative maintenance on various mechanical and process equipment throughout the plants. This position operates landscaping equipment on the plant site, unloads delivered materials, assist in maintaining plant grounds, and performs housekeeping duties as needed.

* ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

*** Manages recycling and dumpster materials.
* Performs lite maintenance duties to such as painting equipment, buildings, and curbs, changing light fixtures, making small repair to plant treatment equipment, and other building maintenance duties;
Assists in maintaining small mechanical equipment.
* Facility maintenance which includes cleaning of treatment tanks, basins, floors, walkways, and grounds, etc.
* Assists in scheduling, follow up and transporting plant vehicles for necessary maintenance and inspections.
* Runs various errands as needed such as picking up maintenance or laboratory supplies.
* Operates plant landscaping equipment and performs housekeeping duties as needed.
** MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:
*** Requires valid driver’s license with ability to obtain a City Driving Permit.
* High school diploma/GED required.
** Licenses, Certifications or Registrations:
*** Requires a valid driver’s license.
* Must obtain and maintain a City Driving Permit.

* Experience with industrial building maintenance.

* Ability to operate equipment such as loaders, skid steers, zero turn mowers, bush hogs, weed trimmers, chain saws, and other equipment.
