Maintenance Manager

TITLE: Maintenance Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE: This position is responsible for managing the plant maintenance and projects in a cost-effective and safe manner that will maximize equipment uptime.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
• Four-year university or college degree, or minimum 8 years’ experience in polymer.
• Maintenance Management or related field.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good analytical and planning skills.

POSITIONS REPORTING DIRECTLY TO THE POSTION:

• Electrical Supervisor
• Mechanical Supervisor
• Electrical Technician
• Mechanical Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Maintenance Section functions.
• Evaluate/Approve engineering project design and budget.
• Execute special improvement projects.
• Oversee new equipment installation.
• Must know and follow all ISO procedures for Maintenance Section.
• Approve ISO procedure, P.M., records forms, and time sheets of hourly personnel.
• Analyze downtime and reports and monthly performance reports, etc.
• Approve yearly budget.
• Evaluations for Maintenance Section.
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager
• Approve parts purchase/repair.
