Hardgoods Furniture Department Lead

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual to lead our furniture rental department and ensure rental furniture is clean, well-maintained, and ready for delivery. This person will oversee the preparation and staging of furniture for upcoming events, clean and inspect returned items, and perform minor repairs as needed to keep our inventory in excellent condition.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail, and can prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who is comfortable working with their hands, takes ownership of the department’s organization and inventory quality, and ensures our furniture is event-ready and meets Party Reflections’ standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Stage and prepare furniture for upcoming deliveries and events.

Clean, inspect, and organize furniture returned from rentals.

Perform minor furniture repairs and identify items requiring additional maintenance.

Ensure furniture is clean, presentable, safe, and ready for its next rental.

Maintain an organized workspace and properly store furniture and supplies.

Prioritize daily tasks based on upcoming deliveries and return schedules.

Monitor furniture condition and communicate repair or replacement needs.

Help maintain quality standards and efficient workflow within the department.

Ideal Candidate:

Hands-on, dependable, and detail-oriented.

Comfortable cleaning, handling, and making minor repairs to furniture.

Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.

Able to work in a warehouse environment and perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving furniture.

Takes pride in maintaining quality and ensuring customer-ready products.

Previous furniture, warehouse, maintenance, or rental industry experience is a plus.

Must have adequate vision with or without corrective lenses.

Must have sufficient clarity of speech and hearing with or without reasonable accommodations.

Must have full range of motion and dexterity, including but not limited to the ability to bend, squat and reach overhead.

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Must be able to perform essential job duties in a non-climate controlled environment.

Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
