Site Supervisor - FAA Regional Training Site, Charlotte, NC

Overview

Contract Site Supervisor (CSS) on the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team providing air traffic controller training services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the FAA Regional Training Site located in Charlotte, NC.

• Manage the overall delivery of contract training and training support at the facility.
• Communicate effectively with FAA and contract personnel; oversee CTS contract execution.
• Perform performance and financial management of human and budgetary resources.
• Assist with development of training plans and maintenance of training material.
• Conduct training and support training administration; uphold high quality standards throughout the operation.
• Provide timely and effective training for ATC personnel; apply strong teaching and classroom management skills.
• Apply knowledge of current ATC automation, simulation systems, and procedures.

Required Skills

• Minimum five (5) years recent Certified Professional Controller (CPC) experience controlling live traffic, or recent experience as a contract Instructor at an FAA facility in a similar level facility.
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Desired Skills

• ATC “Area Knowledge” and experience at a level 10 facility or above (strongly desired but not required).
• Curriculum development experience.
• A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or managerial experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Certified Professional Controller (CPC) certification required.
