POSITION OVERVIEWWe at Swim Club Management Group, Inc. are looking for a Repair Manager to join our growing team! Swim Club Management Group, Inc. (SCMG) is the leading service provider for swim club management services in the Carolinas and Virginia. ESSENTIALRESPONSIBILITIES Project Management
- Oversee and manage repair projects from planning through completion.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of project plans to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Monitor work progress daily and adjust project timelines or resources as needed.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations, building codes, and company procedures.
- Enforce the use of required PPE and report any safety violations promptly.
- Prepare and maintain clean and hazard-free construction sites, including removal of debris and hazardous materials.
- Lead and coordinate repair technicians and subcontractors to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Assign duties and monitor performance to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide direction and support to staff, resolving issues as they arise.
- Select and manage tools, equipment, and materials required for projects.
- Maintain inventory control and ensure availability of necessary supplies.
- Operate or oversee operation of construction-related equipment and machinery.
- Support specialized tasks including pool and hot tub plumbing, tile repairs, re-plastering, deck sealing, and paver installation.
- Basic understanding of 110V and 220V electrical systems is a plus.
- Draft contracts, negotiate terms with vendors and subcontractors, and secure permits and licenses.
- Ensure repair methods and techniques align with industry best practices and quality expectations.
- Proven experience in construction, renovation, and repair project management.
- Strong understanding of repair techniques and general construction processes.
- Preferred experience in pool renovation, re-plastering (e.g., Pebble Tec), tile and deck repairs, and paver installation.
- Familiarity with electrical systems (110V/220V) is a plus.
- Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
To support the business this role will have a varying schedule to accommodate the seasonal fluctuations. This role will work a schedule of 40 hrs per week with an increase in hours during the peak seasons to accomplish the needs of the business. From September to March the schedule will be Monday through Friday. April to September (ending after Labor Day) includes the peak pre-season and summer season which is when the business is the busiest.
The schedule during these months will be six days a week with the expectation to work weekends.
This role requires flexible schedules and may work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and work extended hours depending on customer and business needs.
Be available "after hours" for emergency situations to address business and client needs.
Ability to work during summer holidays as pool service and maintenance is critical during these times. Must be available on Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, and Labor Day and corresponding weekends.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Sitting, Standing, and Walking for long durations.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy equipment (e.g., pool vacuums, filters) up to 85+ lbs.
- Ability to work in water and perform physical labor.
- Typically works outdoors for prolonged periods of time, often at commercial properties (hotels, gyms, resorts).
- The role requires working in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, or cold temperatures.
- Occasional travel may be needed for client meetings or other business related meetings.
- Travel to different job sites using a company vehicle or personal transportation.

The Repair Manager has a compensation of $75,000 - $85,000 per annum.
