Senior Project Manager

We’re hiring a Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction in Charlotte, NC.

Elford continues to grow in the Charlotte market, and we’re looking for an experienced construction leader who can take ownership of complex commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.

This role is built for someone who:

• Leads from the front and stays connected to the field
• Owns project financials — forecasting, risk management, and cost control
• Partners closely with Superintendents to keep schedule, safety, and quality aligned
• Manages subcontractors with clarity and accountability
• Communicates confidently with clients, architects, and consultants
• Mentors and develops the next level of project leaders

You’ll drive planning, budgeting, buyouts, contracting strategy, and execution — while ensuring projects are built the right way and perform financially.

We’re looking for 10+ years of commercial construction experience with senior-level PM responsibility and strong financial acumen. Familiarity with the Charlotte market is a plus.
