What is the Opportunity?

The Employee Concerns Manager plays a critical role in fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability across the organization. This position is responsible for receiving, evaluating, and resolving employee concerns—particularly those involving safety, ethics, regulatory compliance, and workplace conduct—within both nuclear-regulated and federal operational environments. The Employee Concerns Manager ensures that all concerns are addressed in a timely, confidential, and legally compliant manner, while promoting trust and ethical behavior throughout the workforce.

What

You'll Do Here:
Concern Intake & Management
  • Receive, document, and triage employee concerns related to safety, ethics, harassment, retaliation, and regulatory violations.
  • Ensure concerns are handled confidentially and impartially, with appropriate follow‑up and resolution.
  • Maintain detailed records of all cases and ensure timely reporting to appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
Ethics & Governance
  • Collaborate with the Ethics & Compliance team to ensure alignment with company policies and reporting obligations.
  • Support the implementation of ethics training, awareness campaigns, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Monitor trends and systemic issues to recommend policy or procedural improvements.
Investigations & Reporting
  • Conduct or oversee internal investigations, ensuring objectivity and adherence to due process.
  • Prepare investigation summaries and recommendations for corrective action.
  • Jointly report findings and metrics to the Director Labour Relations and Sr. Director Human Resources.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees seeking guidance or support.
  • Build strong relationships across departments to promote a speak‑up culture.
  • Provide regular updates and briefings to senior leadership on concern trends and resolution status.
What You'll Bring Here:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in employee relations, ethics compliance, or investigations.
  • Experience in nuclear‑regulated and federal environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of whistle blower protections and ethics regulations an asset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience working with DOE, NRC, or DoD contractors is preferred.
