The Shared Vice President of Operations (SVP of Operations) is a senior executive responsible for the overall operational performance, execution, and scalability of the Company’s Plumbing, Paint & Drywall, and Commercial divisions. This role is accountable for translating strategic priorities into disciplined execution, driving operational and financial results, and building strong leadership capability across the organization.
Reporting to the CEO, the SVP of Operations serves as the senior operational leader responsible for ensuring alignment, accountability, and performance across multiple lines of business in support of Stancil's long-term growth objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Enterprise Operational Leadership
- Own day-to-day operational performance, ensuring consistent execution aligned with Company strategy and priorities.
- Establish clear operating rhythms, performance expectations, and accountability across divisions.
- Identify and address operational risks, performance gaps, and execution breakdowns.
- Own operational financial performance in partnership with Finance, including labor productivity, cost management, and margin performance.
- Hold division leaders accountable for budgets, forecasts, and financial results.
- Ensure operational decisions are informed by financial impact and aligned with Company profitability goals.
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve margins through operational discipline and efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and develop division leaders and their leadership teams.
- Ensure the right leaders are in the right seats; address performance gaps decisively and appropriately.
- Build leadership bench strength and succession plans for critical operational roles.
- Establish clear expectations, leadership standards, and accountability across operations.
- Partner with Human Resources to support talent development, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
- Partner closely with Finance, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, Safety, and other shared services to ensure aligned execution.
- Clarify roles, responsibilities, and decision rights across functions and divisions.
- Proactively identify and resolve cross-functional friction that impacts execution or results.
- Model and reinforce the Company’s core values through consistent leadership behaviors and decisions.
- Build trust and credibility with frontline teams and leaders.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Senior executive leadership experience in construction, trades, or a similarly complex, labor-intensive operating environment.
- Proven experience leading multiple divisions or business units with full operational accountability.
- Strong financial acumen with experience owning P&L responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and hold leaders accountable.
- Experience leading organizations through growth, change, and increasing operational complexity.
- Experience operating within EOS or a comparable operating framework preferred.
