Position Summary
The General Manager – North America will serve as the senior business leader for the company’s North American operations, with full responsibility for commercial performance, operational execution, and organizational leadership across the U.S. and Canada.
This role will unify the company’s North American product platforms into a single, integrated commercial and operational organization, creating alignment across sales, operations, and customer engagement. The General Manager will drive strategic growth initiatives and lead the business toward $150MM+ in revenue by 2030, while establishing a scalable foundation for long-term success in the plastics and additives market.
This is a high-impact leadership role suited for an experienced executive with strong commercial instincts, operational discipline, and the ability to lead complex organizations through growth and transformation.
MainDuties & Responsibilities
- Lead and integrate North American operations into a cohesive, enterprise-level commercial and operational organization.
- Own full P&L responsibility for the North American business, including revenue growth, margin performance, and cost management.
- Define and execute the North American growth strategy, ensuring consistent market execution across all product platforms.
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product Management, and Customer Service.
- Establish a unified go-to-market approach that presents a single, coordinated value proposition to customers.
- Drive strategic account development, including regional, multi-site, and national customer relationships.
- Partner closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment between commercial commitments and operational capabilities.
- Implement scalable processes, governance structures, and performance metrics to support sustainable growth.
- Act as the primary North American leadership representative, working closely with global leadership on strategy, investment priorities, and expansion initiatives.
- Proven experience leading and scaling industrial B2B businesses at the enterprise level.
- Demonstrated success integrating multiple business lines into a unified operating model.
- Strong general management capabilities with deep experience in P&L ownership and strategic execution.
- In-depth knowledge of the North American plastics, additives, and masterbatch ecosystem.
- Ability to lead senior teams through organizational change while maintaining focus on results.
- Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on leadership and execution discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field required.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of senior leadership experience in plastics, additives, masterbatch, or related industrial markets.
- Prior experience in General Manager, EVP, or divisional leadership roles with broad operational scope strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to scale revenue, improve organizational alignment, and deliver sustained profitability.
