The National Field Execution Manager, Americas is responsible for leading national trade execution strategy across independent smoke shops, regional and chain smoke shops, and the Cash & Carry channel. This role translates commercial objectives into disciplined in-market execution, driving distribution growth, visibility, and retail engagement while leading and developing a team of 8 Trade Execution Representatives. The role plays a critical part in expanding numeric and weighted distribution, strengthening brand penetration, and elevating point-of-sale excellence across the U.S.
Responsibilities Field Leadership & Performance Management- Leads, coaches, and develops a high-performing field team focused on distribution, visibility, and relationship management.
- Sets clear weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs aligned to national trade objectives.
- Drives accountability through structured CRM (Zoho) performance governance.
- Implements corrective action plans and capability development initiatives where required.
- Develops and executes strategies to increase numeric and weighted distribution.
- Secures new listings and expands SKU assortment within existing accounts.
- Drives best-in‑class merchandising, brand blocking, and point‑of‑sale execution.
- Identifies white‑space opportunities across priority geographies.
- Monitors and develops the Cash & Carry channel as a key distribution growth engine.
- Builds and maintains relationships with Cash & Carry operators.
- Tracks product availability, pricing alignment, and competitive activity within Cash & Carry depots.
- Identifies gaps in assortment and trade support to improve product penetration.
- Provides structured reporting on performance, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Drives delivery of national brand strategy into actionable trade marketing plans with focus on execution.
- Champions a “brilliant basics” approach to trade execution.
- Conducts regular market audits across retail and Cash & Carry environments.
- Ensures trade initiatives are delivered on time, in full, and to brand standard.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-8+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, Field Sales Management, or Channel Development within FMCG, tobacco, or consumer goods industries.
- Demonstrated experience managing field‑based teams across multiple territories.
- Proven success working within independent retail and wholesale / Cash & Carry environments.
- Experience using CRM systems to drive KPI governance and performance management.
- Strong leadership and coaching capability with a proven ability to elevate team performance.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high energy and self‑motivation.
- Strategic thinker with disciplined execution focus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret KPI dashboards and CRM data.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Zoho preferred).
- Experience in the tobacco or consumer goods industries.
- Familiarity with trade marketing strategies.
