We are representing a well-established and rapidly growing mechanical contractor to identify a General Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple projects in the Charlotte market.

This company is a well-established mechanical contractor in the Southeast that continues to experience strong growth across commercial and institutional projects. They have built a reputation for strong leadership, long-tenured teams, and a collaborative culture between operations and field leadership
.

This role will oversee multiple mechanical projects and field teams, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with schedule and quality expectations.

• Oversee field operations and mechanical installation across multiple projects
• Lead Superintendents, foremen, and field labor to ensure safe and productive job sites
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers on schedule, manpower planning, and logistics
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and daily site operations
• Maintain strict quality control and ensure compliance with project documents and codes
• Forecast labor needs and manage manpower across active projects
• Attend project meetings and serve as a key liaison with clients and project teams
• Promote and enforce strong safety practices across all projects

• 10+ years of mechanical construction field leadership experience
• Currently in the role of Lead Superintendent or General Superintendent with a Mechanical Contractor is a MUST!
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing installation practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects and field teams simultaneously
• Comfortable reading complex plans and working within BIM-coordinated environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
