The Quality Administrator supports and maintains the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with applicable quality standards, supports production quality processes, manages documentation control, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience in manufacturing settings, knowledge of ISO standards, and exposure to calibration systems. The Quality Administrator works closely with cross‑functional teams to promote continuous improvement and maintain high standards of quality.
Responsibilities- Quality Management System (QMS) Support
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and customer‑specific requirements
- Support preparation and coordination of internal and external audits
- Assist in maintaining audit schedules, findings, and corrective action tracking
- Manufacturing Quality Support
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are embedded in manufacturing processes
- Track non‑conformances, deviations, scrap, and rework; support root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Maintain quality records related to inspections, testing, and process controls
- Support supplier quality documentation and incoming inspection processes
- Calibration & Equipment Control
- Maintain and administer the calibration program for production and inspection equipment
- Track calibration schedules and ensure measuring and test equipment is properly calibrated and documented
- Coordinate with external calibration vendors as needed
- Maintain calibration records in accordance with ISO and regulatory requirements
- Prepare regular quality reports for leadership
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem‑solving methods
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment
- Working knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Experience supporting internal and/or external audits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines

- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Hands‑on experience managing calibration programs and metrology systems
- Familiarity with ERP or QMS software platforms
- Knowledge of statistical tools and basic quality methodologies (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.)
