We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support plant operations at its Charlotte, NC facility. This role is responsible for performing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.
The ideal candidate has hands-on industrial maintenance experience and a strong understanding of mechanical systems within a manufacturing or food production setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance throughout the facility
- Operate and maintain tools including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and precision maintenance equipment
- Work across maintenance trades including:
- Welding
- Pipe fitting
- Fabrication
- Gearbox and bearing maintenance
- Lubrication systems
- Pumps and piping systems
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Read and interpret mechanical schematics, blueprints, and operation manuals
- Modify or build equipment as required
- Document maintenance activities using maintenance management software
- Operate forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts
- Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with peers and management to drive continuous improvement
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience
- Demonstrated experience in at least 1–2 maintenance trades (mechanical, electrical, welding, pipe fitting, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.)
- Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Trade school certification or degree in a maintenance-related field
- Military maintenance experience
- Experience in food production environments
- Experience with precision maintenance (laser alignment, dial indication)
- Knowledge of safe work practices such as PJHA and confined space procedures
