We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support plant operations at its Charlotte, NC facility. This role is responsible for performing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on industrial maintenance experience and a strong understanding of mechanical systems within a manufacturing or food production setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance throughout the facility
  • Operate and maintain tools including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and precision maintenance equipment
  • Work across maintenance trades including:
    • Welding
    • Pipe fitting
    • Fabrication
    • Gearbox and bearing maintenance
    • Lubrication systems
    • Pumps and piping systems
    • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Read and interpret mechanical schematics, blueprints, and operation manuals
  • Modify or build equipment as required
  • Document maintenance activities using maintenance management software
  • Operate forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts
  • Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
  • Collaborate with peers and management to drive continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience
  • Demonstrated experience in at least 1–2 maintenance trades (mechanical, electrical, welding, pipe fitting, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.)
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade school certification or degree in a maintenance-related field
  • Military maintenance experience
  • Experience in food production environments
  • Experience with precision maintenance (laser alignment, dial indication)
  • Knowledge of safe work practices such as PJHA and confined space procedures
