Ink Production Technician

Hitachi Industrial Equipment & Solutions America is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ink Production Technician to join its growing inkjet manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC. This role supports the Industrial Components & Equipment Division and reports directly to the Ink Manufacturing Supervisor.
This is a temporary-to-full-time opportunity
, with potential for permanent placement after 90 days for the right candidate.
The Ink Production Technician is responsible for blending, producing, filling, and packaging precision ink batches used in Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) printing systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid math skills, and the ability to follow exact process formulas and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Produce and package ink batches ranging from 25–120 gallons
- Perform repetitive blending operations for CIJ inks
- Assist with lab scale-up and full production processes
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment in compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
- Perform basic maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Maintain warehouse, ink room, and supply room organization
- Follow Haz Mat and SDS handling procedures
- High School Diploma required OR minimum of 2 years industrial/manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills
- Experience working in laboratory or manufacturing environments
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency
