Shipping Clerk

Overview

Join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC, as a Shipping Clerk! We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for working in a warehouse. If you have experience in manufacturing and possess strong communication and math skills, we want to hear from you! This is a Monday-Friday 6-2:30pm hourly position.

• Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment of products.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
• Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
• Scheduling and coordinating shipments with carriers.
• Tracking shipments and providing updates to customers.
• Handling any issues or problems that arise during the shipping process.
• Maintaining accurate records of all shipments, both incoming and outgoing.
• Preparing reports on shipping activities and inventory levels.

• Must have 3+ years of experience
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in packaging and shipping within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in shop math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Above basic computer skills. Knowledge of excel, word, google sheets, and Netsuite
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
