A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and plant-level process discipline across a dynamic automotive/industrial production environment. This role is responsible for strengthening quality performance, supporting manufacturing teams, and driving operational improvements that enhance product consistency, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

This position works closely with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure products meet customer and regulatory standards while fostering a culture of accountability, process ownership, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Manage and coordinate internal, customer, and third-party quality audits
  • Monitor and improve key quality metrics including non-conforming materials, waste reduction, and production quality performance
  • Partner closely with manufacturing leadership to improve process reliability, product consistency, and production efficiency
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions related to quality issues and customer concerns
  • Support supplier quality initiatives and collaborate with procurement on raw material quality performance
  • Facilitate cross-functional improvement projects and Kaizen events focused on cost savings and operational performance
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards that support operational accountability and process discipline
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing organization
Qualifications
  • 7–10+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, continuous improvement, or operations leadership
  • Experience working within an ISO-certified manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and process improvement tools
  • Experience managing quality audits and compliance programs
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and process improvement initiatives
  • Hands-on experience working in production environments and manufacturing operations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in automotive or Tier 1 / Tier 2 manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with PPAP, APQP, and customer quality requirements
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
  • Experience with supplier quality and vendor audits
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical field preferred
