About the OpportunityA global leader in pharmaceutical packaging equipment manufacturing is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join its After-Sales team. Location & Travel RequirementsThis is a U.S.
-based role requiring the candidate to be located in North Carolina, near Charlotte, or willing to relocate
. The position involves frequent travel across the U.S. and internationally to support equipment installations, maintenance, and training at client sites.
- Install, commission, and service pharmaceutical packaging machinery
at customer facilities. - Deliver client training on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety.
- Act as the main point of contact during on‑site visits, ensuring excellent customer experience.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
- Document service activities through detailed reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with the After-Sales and Engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Advanced Vocational Training (FP-II) or Technical Engineering degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Field Service or After-Sales role.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with industrial machinery
(pharmaceutical packaging or process equipment preferred). - Proven ability to handle installations, training, and complex mechanical repairs.
- Ability to work independently while managing travel schedules effectively.
- Strong mechanical skills
with solid electrical and troubleshooting abilities. - Customer-focused, with clear and professional communication skills.
- Organized, proactive, and results‑driven.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT tools.
- Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
