Maintenance Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the snack food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: South Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $25- $32 per hour

Shift: 5:45am-6:15pm or 5:45pm-6:15am

What's the Job?

• Maintain and repair equipment and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.

• Adhere to governmental regulatory programs and policies, including OSHA, EPA, and local environmental agencies.

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, corrective repairs, and equipment rebuilds.

• Utilize predictive maintenance technologies such as ultrasound, thermal imaging, oil analysis, and vibration analysis to identify failures early.

• Document maintenance activities and findings using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

What's Needed?

• Ability to interpret technical documents, diagrams, and schematics including electrical, mechanical, and process diagrams.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Willingness to attend training and stay updated with industry changes.

• Experience with equipment repair, installation, and fabrication is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
