Job Summary

As our brewery’s Cellar and Packaging Lead, you are a key player in our brewing operations from fermentation to packaging. This hands-on position involves tank management, cleaning, transferring beer, and maintaining brewery equipment in a safe and sanitary environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cellar operations including fermentation monitoring, dry hopping, fining, and carbonating beer
  • CIP (Clean-in-Place) and sanitize tanks, hoses, and related brewing equipment
  • Transfer beer from fermenters to brite tanks with strict attention to quality and sanitation
  • Assist with packaging operations (canning, kegging, bottling)
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of fermentation, transfers, and cellar activities
  • Follow SOPs and safety procedures diligently
  • Assist with general cleaning and organization of the cellar and brewhouse areas
  • Support the brew team as needed for other production-related tasks
Requirements
  • Experience in a brewery production or cellar role preferred (can-filling operations would be great!)
  • Strong understanding of sanitation practices and quality control in a brewery setting
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and move 165 lb. kegs
  • Comfortable working in wet, cold, and noisy environments
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Passion for craft beer and a desire to grow within the industry
