* Summary:

** As required, manufacturing composite parts using predominantly pre-preg materials utilizing Industry Standard Lamination Techniques. Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for finishing composite parts and assemblies.
** Essential Duties and

Key Responsibilities *
* ** include the following:
*** While using scissors, stir sticks, and razor blades, the Composites Technician may be responsible for molding carbon fiber material utilizing the bagging process to mold parts.
* Breaking Out / Demolding cured parts
* Responsible for utilizing hand tools, such as a handheld grinder, to shape/trim parts and molds to specifications
* Always maintain a clean and organized work environment
* Prepare Molds and pre-preg patterns for Production
* Lamination of Composites components following drawings and or Lay-Up manuals
* Preparing Laminated parts for Autoclave or Oven Curing utilizing vacuum bagging techniques
* Loading and unloading Autoclaves
* Adhering to tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
* Pro-Active in parts development and improvements
* Trimming / Finishing / Assembly of Composites Parts

*** Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
* IT Literate

** Education/

Experience:

*** Mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of operating basic hand tools, is required. Ability to work safely with Composite materials and other related chemicals.
