Saw Operator- 2nd Shift
We're seeking a dependable Saw Operator to join a growing metal distribution and processing team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in machine operation, metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environments who enjoy hands-on work and operating equipment.
What You'll Do- Set up and operate metal cutting saws according to work orders
- Read blueprints, measurements, and production specifications
- Measure and verify material dimensions for quality and accuracy
- Operate overhead cranes and other material handling equipment
- Move, label, bundle, and prepare materials for shipment
- Perform basic machine maintenance and equipment inspections
- Use grinders and finishing tools to clean and prepare materials
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Manufacturing, machine operation, fabrication, or warehouse experience
- Ability to read a tape measure and work from blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and safe work habits
- Ability to lift, move, and handle metal materials
- Experience with saws, cranes, forklifts, or industrial equipment is a plus

Work in a busy metal processing warehouse operating saws, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
