Neugart USA Corp. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented mechanical Assembly Worker to join our manufacturing and assembly operations in Charlotte, NC.

The Assembly Worker is responsible for the precise mechanical assembly and pre-assembly of Neugart gearboxes and related components. The position requires careful adherence to work instructions, assembly drawings, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
Pay is $18–$24/hour , depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

Previous gearbox assembly experience is not required. Training on our products, processes, tools, and work instructions will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical gearboxes and pre-assembly components according to work instructions, assembly drawings, and production requirements.
  • Prepare and verify parts, components, tools, and materials required for assembly.
  • Perform visual, functional, and basic quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
  • Properly use and maintain hand tools, torque tools, measuring devices, assembly equipment, and workstations.
  • Record completed work steps and production confirmations in the applicable company systems.
  • Identify and report damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing components.
  • Properly handle, store, label, and move production materials and completed products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe assembly area.
  • Support inventory, material-handling, corrective-action, and other production activities as needed.
  • Follow all company quality, safety, and operating procedures.
Qualifications Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, automotive work, maintenance, or a similar hands‑on environment is beneficial but not required.
Skills & Abilities
  • Basic mechanical understanding and interest in working with mechanical components.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, assembly drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work accurately on repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, torque tools, calipers, or similar measuring devices is beneficial.
  • Ability to understand metric measurements such as millimeters, grams, kilograms, and Newton meters.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company systems.
  • Reliable, dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive manual assembly activities.
  • Ability to handle small mechanical parts and components.
  • Ability to understand metric measurements such as millimeters, grams, kilograms, and Newton‑meters.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle gearboxes and materials within established safe and ergonomic limits
What We Offer
  • Pay: $18–$24/hour , depending on relevant experience and qualifications
  • Full-time position with a 40-hour work week.
  • Regular working hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.
