Our Machine Operator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Making high-end quality plastic film within a climate controlled facility
. - Operating multiple logic controlled machines within the facility (Extrusion, Coater, Slitter, Sheeter, Stretcher and more)
- Implementing and maintaining defined operating parameters and controlled setups.
- Ensuring product compliance and quality.
- Commitment to international Safety Standards including industrial fork lift operation.
- Maintaining accurate records for Inventory Control.
- Acquiring job and technical competence using a self driven multi-skill program.
EXPERIENCE:
The desired candidate has a technical competence usually from at least 1 year Operator experience in a relevant manufacturing environment such as a mill or plastics industry rather than production line facility.
OTHERSKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Those successful in this job tend to be technically and mechanically competent. They possess basic computer skills including apps and some work with spreadsheets. The generally already have the ability to understand various units of measure and convert to and from standard measurements to the metric system.
