Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electronics Technician
A manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC is looking for a Electronic Repair Technician. They are looking to interview candidates ASAP. This role is fast paced and demanding. This company is growing quickly and willing to train for upward progression. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. This will operate off the 1st shift schedule Monday-Friday.
salary: $45,760 - $52,000 per year shift:
First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education:

- Ability to diagnose electronic circuit board failures to the component level.
- Perform component-level repairs, including replacing defective electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, ICs, relays, connectors, and power devices.
- Use diagnostic equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power supplies to identify faults.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Conduct functional testing and quality inspections on repaired boards to verify proper operation.
- Basic to intermediate soldering and desoldering skills for through-hole and surface-mount components.
- Maintain repair records and inventory of replacement components.
- Follow company quality standards and safety procedures.
- Log all work as it arrives and departs.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 8 hours at one time
- working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
- Electronic Repair (2 years of experience is preferred)
- PCB Troubleshooting (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Industrial Equipment Maint (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Soldering (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Desoldering Experience (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Electronic Schematics (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Industrial Control Systems (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Motor Drives (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Power Supplies (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Machine Controls (Inverters) (2 years of experience is preferred)
