Job Description

  • Operate chemical processing, blending, filling, and packaging equipment to safely produce products in accordance with production schedules and quality specifications
  • Monitor and control process parameters such as flow rates, temperatures, pressures, levels, and chemical concentrations to ensure consistent product quality
  • Perform equipment setup, startup, shutdown, and routine Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities on chemical production systems
  • Safely handle, transfer, and stage raw materials, intermediates, and finished chemical products while adhering to environmental, health, and safety standards
  • Operate equipment including mixers, blending vessels, pumps, fillers, cappers, labelers, palletizers, and material handling systems
  • Review batch records, work instructions, formulas, and production documentation to ensure accurate product manufacturing
  • Conduct quality control activities including sampling, testing, pH verification, viscosity checks, fill weight inspections, and other process quality requirements
  • Complete batch records, production logs, quality documentation, and electronic manufacturing records with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Support product changeovers, line cleanouts, CIP (Clean-in-Place) activities, and waste handling procedures while maintaining GMP and housekeeping standards
  • Identify process improvements that increase safety, quality, throughput, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events, Root Cause Analysis, and 5S practices
  • Maintain strict compliance with chemical handling procedures, PPE requirements, environmental regulations, and plant safety standards

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in chemical manufacturing, batch processing, blending, mixing, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, personal care products, or industrial production environments
  • Ability to read and follow batch sheets, SOPs, process instructions, and quality specifications
  • Knowledge of chemical handling procedures, GMP practices, process safety, and quality systems
  • Experience troubleshooting process equipment and resolving production issues
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
