This is a pitman shift- 2-3-2 schedule
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a fast-paced, high-quality production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, safety, lean manufacturing tools, and six sigma tools. ResponsibilitiesAs a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following:
- 1. Overseeing the daily operations of the production line to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- 2. Implementing lean manufacturing principles and six sigma tools to optimize production processes.
- 3. Ensuring that all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- 4. Conducting regular quality control checks to maintain high product standards.
- 5. Coordinating with other departments for production planning and scheduling, ensuring that production targets are met.
- 6. Identifying areas for procedural improvements and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- 7. Providing leadership, guidance, and support to the production team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- 8. Reporting on production activities and performance indicators to senior management.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in the Manufacturing industry.
- 2. In-depth knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
- 3. Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools and six sigma tools.
- 4. Strong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- 5. Proven experience in implementing procedural improvements.
- 6. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- 7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 9. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
