Century Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to create accurate, detailed fire protection designs for industrial, commercial, and residential projects. You'll take projects from design through approval and work closely with our field teams to ensure systems are ready to be installed right.

• Design fire sprinkler systems, including fire pumps, tanks, wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
• Create accurate designs that support efficient field installation.
• Submit designs for approval and obtain permits as required.
• Complete design calculations and ensure projects stay within allocated hours.
• Review work orders and procedures to determine project requirements.
• Prepare submittal packages and correspondence needed for design approval.
• Prepare fabrication lists and requisition materials.
• Conduct field surveys to verify designs fit the structure.
• Support field personnel with design-related installation issues.
• Prepare final close-out documents following acceptance testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–6 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NICET certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce constructible designs.
• Experience with AutoSPRINK preferred;
  SprinkCAD, AutoCAD, or HydroCAD also a plus.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word and Excel.
