Job Description & How to Apply Below
Process Engineer (Operations & Continuous Improvement)
We’re looking for a Process Engineer to take ownership of process improvement across our manufacturing operations. This is a highly visible role where you’ll have the freedom to shape processes, build structure, and drive meaningful change across the plant.
You will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for process improvement, working cross-functionally with all departments to improve safety, efficiency, and performance. This role sits on the leadership team and reports directly to the VP of Operations, offering strong growth potential.
What You’ll Do
- Own and drive process improvement initiatives across the entire plant
- Partner with production, maintenance, safety, and leadership teams to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions
- Develop, standardize, and improve workflows, SOPs, and operating procedures
- Lead projects from idea through implementation, with a focus on sustainable results
- Use data, KPIs, and team input to continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity
- Act as the go-to process expert for the facility
- Help build and refine systems, tools, and processes—making the role your own
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Process, Chemical, Mechanical, or similar)
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing operations
- Experience driving process improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
- Strong ability to work across teams and influence change
- Comfortable in a hands-on, plant-based environment
What Makes This Role Different
- High ownership: You’ll have the autonomy to shape how processes are built and improved
- Leadership exposure: Direct visibility to and partnership with the VP of Operations
- Broad impact: Work across all departments, not siloed into one function
- Growth potential: Opportunity to expand scope and grow into larger leadership roles
- Fully onsite in a manufacturing facility
- Hands-on role with active time on the plant floor
