How You Will Make History Here…As a Bakery/Salty Processing Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring processing and baking equipment to ensure the safe, efficient, and consistent production of high-quality products. Your attention to detail, commitment to food safety, and ability to manage ingredient preparation and equipment operations will help deliver products that meet our quality standards and customer expectations.
What You Will Do…- Operate processing and baking equipment safely and efficiently while producing products that meet quality and food safety standards.
- Read and follow batch sheets, recipes, and processing instructions.
- Accurately weigh, stage, and mix raw materials and ingredients.
- Monitor temperatures, moisture levels, mix times, raw material weights, and piece weights, making adjustments as needed to maintain product specifications.
- Observe product quality throughout the process and remove improperly formed or non-conforming products.
- Start up, operate, shut down, and perform product changeovers on processing and bakery equipment following established procedures.
- Support preventative maintenance activities and basic equipment troubleshooting.
- Monitor for potential foreign material contamination and report concerns immediately.
- Communicate and elevate quality, food safety, and equipment issues to appropriate team members.
- Follow sanitation procedures for equipment cleaning, changeovers, and chemical handling.
- Track, manage, and properly dispose of waste materials.
- Move and stage raw materials using material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, when qualified.
- Maintain appropriate raw material inventories and communicate material needs to support continuous operations.
- Monitor seasoning application and make adjustments as required, where applicable.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through housekeeping and 5S practices.
- Follow all safety procedures, use required PPE, and report unsafe conditions, injuries, or defective equipment.
- Work overtime as required to support business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma or GED and/or 1 year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 1 year of industrial food manufacturing experience working with ingredients, measurements, and processing equipment.
- Ability to read and follow recipes, batch sheets, and production procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple process variables simultaneously.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with team members and leadership.
- Ability to safely operate in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery, heat, noise, humidity, and other industrial conditions.
